Why?!

I am surely being tested, right?  It is very hard to kick off my more positive outlook when my year is starting off with such a hit that it would be difficult for anyone to stay positive.  I've got to find some way to get past this!  What is worse is that it is a situation I have no control over!  Must try to see beyond the trees....
